*** The next St. Johns Military Moms meeting will be Monday September 6th at 6:30 pm at the Main Street Cafe in downtown St. Johns.

*** Remember every Friday night at The American Legion in downtown St. Johns is "Burger Night".  They have AWESOME burgers!  Tuesdays are Taco Night!

*** If you would like your Service Man or Service Woman’s picture on the “Wall of Honor” at The Cellular Connection (Formerly Sunfire Wireless) and the Traveling “Wall of Honor”, please give his/her photo to Tami Nelson or drop it off at The Cellular Connection.  The photo will be returned to you after it is scanned.  You will also need to fill out an information card, which Tami will have or you can get one at The Cellular Connection.  The “Wall of Honor” is for those who graduated from St. Johns High School, or those Service Men/Women who now reside in St. Johns.

*** Donate your good working used cell phones to The Cellular Connection (Formerly Sunfire Wireless) for their "Cell Phones For Local Soldiers & Veterans" program.  For every used cell phone The Cellular Connection sells they will donate $25.  The Cellular Connection will donate to the St. Johns American Legion Post 153 for the months of January, February and March, then to the St. Johns Military Moms during the months of April, May, June, and July, then to the St. Johns VFW Post 4113 during the months of August, September, and October and then to the Andrew Nelson Memorial Scholarship Fund in November and December. The St. Johns Military Moms use the money for sending out  care packages to our guys and gals.  In the last 15 months the Cellular Connection has donated over $4,000 to the St. Johns Military Moms, the St. Johns VFW 4113, the St. Johns American Legion Post 153 and the Andrew Nelson Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Thanks for supporting this effort to help our local military men and women!
